Since his previous tweets honouring YS Rajasekhar Reddy and YS Jagan have become widely famous, director MS Rajsekhar Reddy, also known in the Telugu cinema business as Editor SR Sekhar, has become entangled in the web of caste politics. Even if the director insisted that the disparaging comments against other castes were bogus and were attributed to him by thugs, hero Nithiin has nonetheless faced the burden.
The Macherla Niyojakavargam trailer releasing ceremony took held the other day in Guntur, and the filmmaker was noticeably absent. Forget about it; even the movie's hero, Nithiin, who praised the film's commercial aspects and praised Anil Ravipudi for attending the ceremony, hasn't spoken a word about director Rajsekhar Reddy. He gave high respect to the director, choreographer Jani Master, Krithi and Katherine, as well as Sagar, the music director.
It appears that the hero has totally avoided mentioning the identity of his director so as to avoid unduly inciting the emotions of moviegoers against Macherla Niyojakavargam. Nithiin is renowned for his affection for Pawan Kalyan, and Guntur is known for its TDP followers. Then, although though sources insisted that the director was preoccupied with the last stages of the movie's post-production, one wonders whether he also purposefully skipped the event.
