Here : Thank You Image
Following Manam, Naga Chaitanya and Vikram K. Kumar collaborated on the film Thank You. Today, the movie began playing in theatres. Let's check out the movie.
Story :
The most successful businessperson in the corporate world is Abhiram (Naga Chaitanya). But everyone is put off by his vanity and self-centered demeanour, even his girlfriend (Raashi Khanna) One day, he has an emotional experience that makes him realise he needs to show his appreciation to individuals who helped him through difficult times. He then sets out on a journey to thank each person personally before returning to the crowd. The entire plot of the movie is how he accomplishes that.
Better Points :
There are no surprises in this straightforward plot. The focus is on the egotistical businessman's life, and Naga Chaitanya shows strong variances. He can easily play all these characters and don different stages of his life, and we should be grateful for how well he captures the variety of their hues.
Raashii Khanna has a lovely appearance, and she excels in her adult role. Malavika Nair and Avika Gor, two additional heroines, also give their all. The song by Malavika and Chay is quite good.
Prakash Raj and Sampath do brilliantly despite having little roles. The film's graphics, which rank among its strongest elements, are handled expertly by director Vikram K Kumar.
Loss Of Points :
The plot itself is the main issue. These types of tales have been well-known to audiences for a while now. Thank You is a film about a person's emotional journey, although the emotions are not effectively conveyed on screen. Instead, the movie shows banal and dull flashbacks from school and college.
The absence of Vikram Kumar's signature in this screenplay is a major letdown. The drama might have been much better because it is simple to guess what will happen next. It is outdated and already dead.
scenes of romance starring Naga ChaitanyaRaashii Khanna and Naga Chaitanya's love scenes should have been depicted more skillfully. The second half has a lot of moments that lag and are inappropriate for today's generation, which is a major negative. They may have been cut down for a more effective narration.
Additionally, Thank You lacks the typical thrills, chart-topping tunes, and large-scale brawls that keep viewers entertained. The marketing team said that there are numerous references to Mahesh Babu throughout the movie. However, those sequences don't really stand out either.
A technical Nature :
Being a successful director, Vikram K. Kumar typically faces tremendous expectations. But Thank You lacks the enchantment of his earlier films. The narrative of the emotional journey is not intriguing or compelling, according to the filmmaker. It is important to recognise PC Sreeram for his superb cinematography. In many scenes, the visuals appear fantastic.
In terms of music, Thaman is a tremendous letdown because none of the songs make any sense. Naveen Noli's editing may have been improved, and he might have cut portions to improve the film Thank You. While watching the movie, you can see that the production values are high.
Verdict :
Overall, Thank You is a dated coming-of-age movie that doesn't successfully demonstrate any innovation. The images are boring, the tempo is slow, and there is little effect from the emotions. Chay Akkineni's honest performance, which serves as the movie's saving grace, is its best aspect.
